“Housing Modernities” exhibition is to explore the architecture of modernism and its role in nation building and the construction of a Singapore identity.

This exhibition is designed with the theme of public housing, demonstrating the path to modernism that had been inextricably tied up with nation-building, improving the lives of the citizens, and laying the foundation of an independent modernized state.
