Name of Speaker
Kevin Low
Location
SDE3 level 4, LT427 Design Forum
Kevin Low divides his time between the design of the built environment, teaching architecture, and writing. He has worked in sole practice since 2002.
Engaged in the search for questions rather than answers, Kevin’s work is plural in outcome, focused on addressing relevance, necessity, and time, shrinkwrapped by the specificity of context, as a process of design. With each project, big or small, he is less adept at how things find beautiful form, than how issues, elements, and people find meaning in the relationships and intimate junctions where they meet, and how the big picture is less about finding radical solutions, than a radical way of framing problems.
His writing has been published in Europe, Asia and Oceania, and architecturally, in journals internationally.
