Terry was a Masters student at the NUS Biorobotics Lab specializing in mechanical design with a wide range of interests in the biomedical field. He has helped to develop the hardware of several robotic platforms at the lab including manipulator arms and a bimanual manipulator. He is currently working on the mechanical design of a quadrupedal mobile manipulator as a research platform for control-based experiments.
