Last week, Prof. Lee and Prof. Chew visited Xiamen Yuanhai Automated Container Terminal and ZPMC in Shanghai which is the largest heavy-duty equipment manufacturer in the world.
As a fully automated terminal, Prof. Lee and Prof. Chew discussed with the operation team on many practical questions, such as AGV control and routing, handshake between equipment, etc.
On Tuesday, Prof. Lee and Prof. Chew visited ZPMC headquarter in Shanghai. They discussed with the R&D team about the challenges for next generation terminal in Tuas.
