On April 2, 2024, it was our pleasure to welcome students from Republic Polytechnic to the Centre of Excellence in Modelling and Simulation for Next Generation Ports (C4NGP) at i4.0 Innovation Building. The visit included an engaging tour of the Department of Industrial Systems Engineering and Management, along with an exclusive hands-on session at our research lab at C4NGP. Throughout the visit, we had the opportunity to share our cutting-edge projects and delve into the practical applications of simulation modelling with the students. The highlight for many was the hands-on experience with advanced technologies, including Augmented Reality (AR) via Hololens and Virtual Reality (VR) using the Meta Quest Pro, hosted in our research lab.
