Dr. CHU Xin is a Research Fellow at the Centre of Excellence in Modelling and Simulation for Next Generation Ports (C4NGP) at the National University of Singapore. He received his Ph.D. degree in the Department of Industrial Systems Engineering and Management at NUS, under the supervision of Prof. Chew Ek Peng and Dr. Li Haobin, and bachelor’s degree (Industrial Engineering) from Zhejiang University, China, in 2018. His research focuses on leveraging digital twin technology, optimization, and data-driven analytics to enhance port operations and maritime logistics. He has been involved in multiple projects on container terminal simulation, AIS data analysis, and operations research.
