Earlier in May, a few colleagues here at C4NGP gathered back at our office to participate in the filming of the new SMI Research Spotlight Series. The purpose of this series is to highlight maritime research talent at the SMI-funded research Centres of Excellence (CoEs) who are actively involved in maritime research in Singapore. The series will also feature other CoEs such as MESD, CEMS and CEAOPS.<\/p>\n

Our Centre Co-Director, Dr Li Haobin, was featured in the first episode in which he shared about the key elements of our SINGAPort Studio, a software tool developed by the Centre for container port digital twin building, with advanced object-oriented discrete-event simulation (O2DES) and optimisation methodologies.<\/p>\n
