The close integration of evidence-based theoretical and translational research ensures that our work advances human knowledge whilst contributing to resolving realworld issues faced by humanity. This accords with the three core missions of NUS, namely, Research, Education and Service. Additionally, the Centre leverages on Design Research as a defining platform in the School of Design and Environment to investigate creative design ideas that enhances the quality of life of the elderly.
