The joint seminar co-organize by CWR (NUS) and College of Resource and Environment (CRE), Zhejiang University was held successfully on 7th July 2023 in NUS.
At first, Prof. Hu Jiangyong, Directors of Environmental Engineering program and CWR, gave a welcome speech and introduced Environment Engineering Program/311 program to staff and students from CRE, Zhejiang University.

Then the PhD students from CWR and CRE gave the seminar talks about their research.
Ms. You Na from CWR, NUS gave a presentation about “catalytic ozonation with MFOx@TiO2 for the removal of Ibuprofen: Fabrication, characterization, efficiency, mechanism and application”.
Mr. Shayok Ghosh from CWR, NUS gave a presentation about “application of UV/chlorine as an effective advanced oxidation process for the development of pollutants in water and wastewater”.
Mr. Li Wenji from CRE, Zhejiang University gave a presentation about “Insights into the superior bioavailability of biogenic sulfur from the view of its unique properties: The key role of trace organic substances”
Mr Zhao Xin from CRE, Zhejiang University gave a presentation about “modification of rhombosite based material for highly efficient “lock” ARG from the aqueous environments”.

After all the talks, participants raised a number of interesting questions and discussed about the various technologies for pollutant removal in water.
