  • Weathering chambers to carry out accelerated testing for a wide range of materials (metals, cement-based, polymers, timber) and sizes to study their long-term performance and changing climate effects (e.g. temp rise, higher UV intensity, increased CO2, higher intensity dry-wet cycles etc)
  • Carbonation chambers to carry out CCUS studies and the effect of carbonation on materials
  • Corrosion workstation to study the durability of metals
  • Concrete durability test equipment for the full suite of durability performance (e.g. chloride penetration test, sulphate resistance test, alkali-silica reaction test, etc)
  • Mechanical testing equipment with a capacity of up to 2000 tons (largest capacity in Singapore) and with simultaneous mechanical and thermal loading capability (high-temperature in fire scenarios and freezing temperature for arctic applications)
  • Material characterization equipment
  • Advanced imaging technologies
