As part of Woh Hup (Private) Limited’s 90th anniversary celebrations, the leading privately-held construction and civil engineering specialist, has gifted NUS CEE – Civil & Environmental Engineering a cheque worth S$1 million to set up the Woh Hup Visiting Professorship.
Through the Woh Hup Visiting Professorship, NUS Engineering will be able to invite leading experts, researchers, scholars and/or practitioners in the civil and environmental engineering field to the Faculty to conduct public lectures or short courses, where they can share their experiences, knowledge as well as best practices.
According to NUS Engineering Dean Professor Chua Kee Chaing, the gift “will play a key role in strengthening and deepening [NUS Engineering’s] knowledge base” as well as “contribute towards advancing the frontiers of education and research in the field of civil and environment engineering”.
