Final Year undergraduate Civil Engineering students were won 1st Prize (University Level category) at JTC Virtual Case Challenge

Congratulations to our team of 4 Final Year Civil Engineering students (Chang Howe, Qingyang, Carlin, Isaac) on their achievement in being awarded the 1st Prize (University Level category) at JTC Virtual Case Challenge (29 March 2021) organised by JTC Corporation.

The JTC Virtual Case Challenge is a multidisciplinary ideas competition for students to brainstorm fresh ideas that allow JTC to strengthen our role as a master planner, developer and an industry partner of businesses and enterprises. The Problem Statement give was: “Spearhead a Future-Ready Business: Growing with SMEs in an Age of Digital Disruption and Discovering New Opportunities.” Students in teams of 4 are required to come up with recommendations on how JTC can advise and provide further support to SMEs on concerns and issues that they face to ensure the sustainability of their business. The judging criteria include: Market Research, Feasibility, Creativity and Presentation of Proposal.
