Professor Jiangyong HU, Deputy Director of NERI and Director of the Centre for Water Research at NUS Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, delivered a compelling keynote speech on “Advance oxidation processes development for industrial wastewater treatment and reuse.” in the 5th International Water Association (IWA) Resource Recovery Conference, held in Shenzhen, China from November 1-3, 2023. She also chaired the Water Reuse-Innovative Technology Technical Session.<\/p>\n

This year’s conference, themed “Resource Recovery: From Innovation to Reality,” provided a platform to showcase cutting-edge technologies, innovations ready for deployment, and invaluable lesson-learned experiences. It was a collaboration between the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), Shenzhen Water and Environment Group (SWEG), and the IWA Resource Recovery Cluster, with NERI, NUS as one of the supporting organizations.<\/p>\n
