NUS Civil Engineering students Ng Jun Liang Ben, Justin Adrian Halim, and Adler Chua Yu Cheng won the Bronze Medal in the Young Innovators Awards 2024, organised by the Singapore Concrete Institute. This award recognises young innovators who contribute to enhancing productivity in building or civil engineering practices. The NUS team\u2019s submission proposes harnessing 3D concrete printing for Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC). Ben is a PhD student working with Dr. Du Hongjian and Professor Richard Liew, while Justin and Adler are undergraduate students engaged in Undergraduate Research Experience (UREx) and Final Year Project (FYP) work.<\/span><\/p>\n
