He was awarded first place in ISSMGE TC304\/TC309 Student Contest held in conjunction with 7<sup>th<\/sup> Asian-Pacific Symposium on Structural Reliability and Its Applications (APSSRA2020) for his presentation titled \u201c<strong>Bayesian Prediction of Consolidation Settlement using Autoencoder Neural Network and Surrogate Model<\/strong>\u201d. Daniel was supervised by Dr Ku Taeseo and research fellow, Dr Lo Man Kong Horace.<\/p>\n<p>Engineering Practice of Risk Assessment and Management (TC304) regularly holds the TC304 Student Contest on Data Analytics to encourage students to learn statistical and probabilistic methods and implement them in geotechnical data. A contest question is given to all student participants.
