This programme provides a transformative experience that extends beyond the classroom.<\/p>\n<p>Take the leap and be part of this exciting opportunity to broaden your horizons and gain experiences that will shape your future academically, personally, and professionally.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Selection Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students will be assessed based on a <strong>weighted average<\/strong> of their <strong>GPA<\/strong> and <strong>Personal Statement<\/strong> as part of the review process.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, applicants must meet:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The <strong>Faculty&#8217;s internal application criteria<\/strong>, and<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>partner university&#8217;s (PU) requirements<\/strong> for study abroad or exchange programmes, such as:<br \/>\n&#8211; Minimum GPA or academic performance<br \/>\n&#8211; Language proficiency (if applicable)<br \/>\n&#8211; Number of semesters completed at the home university<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<strong>Transfer of Credits<br \/>\n<\/strong>Courses taken in the Partner University will be credit transferred to the NUS MSc programme with grades.\n<strong>Insurance<\/strong><br \/>\nStudents going on exchange are strongly encouraged to purchase personal insurance.\n<strong>Withdrawal from SEP<\/strong><br \/>\nOnce a student has accepted a SEP offer, he\/she is expected to complete the exchange. Students will be notified of the details via email.\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Research and Plan <br \/><\/strong>Begin by researching and drafting a preliminary study plan. Ensure that the academic calendar of the partner university aligns with the NUS academic schedule to avoid any overlap. You should also assess your financial readiness to support your stay during the exchange period.\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>NUS: Online Application &amp; Interview<br \/><\/strong>To apply for the MSc exchange, you must indicate your interest by completing the online application form. The link will be provided via email.\n<p>Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview with a CEE faculty member as part of the selection process. Students will be informed of the outcome via email.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Partner University: Nomination and Approval<br \/><\/strong>The department will submit the list of nominated students to the respective partner universities for their review and approval.
