For admission as a Doctor of Philosophy candidate, a Master&#8217;s degree is normally required. In both cases, the candidate must show the ability to pursue research in the proposed field of advanced study.<\/p>\n<p>For the M. Eng. degree, the period of candidature ranges from 1 to 3 years, while that for the Ph. D. degree ranges from 2 to 5 years.<\/p>\n<p>Financial support is currently available for suitably qualified candidates.
