Some applications of Machine Learning to Ocean Hydrodynamics<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Speaker : Professor Thomas (Tom) Adcock<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Professor of Engineering Science at the University of Oxford and Official Fellow at St Peter’s College, Oxford<\/p>\n\tCEE and CFI Singapore recently organised a Woh Hup Distinguished Lecture by Professor Thomas Adcock highlighting the use of machine learning to enhance ocean modelling and prediction.\nThe session introduced innovative approaches to improve water level forecasting, coastal flood prediction, and data assimilation for offshore applications.\nMore than 70 attendees joined the session, learning how machine learning can overcome challenges faced by traditional methods and support future operational needs.\nThank you to
