Professor Xie Jianping\u00a0has been appointed as Director of Tianjin University-NUS Joint Institute in Fuzhou (NUSRI Fuzhou) from 1 September 2023.<\/p>\n

Jianping is a Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. He is known for his seminal works on atomically precise metal nanoclusters, an emerging class of functional materials for biomedical and catalytic applications. As for translational impact, Jianping pioneered the design of metal nanocluster radiosensitizers for cancer radiotherapy, traceable antimicrobial agents, and NIR-II fluorescent probes for bioimaging. He is a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher for the past five consecutive years (2018 \u2013 2022). Jianping is also a Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) and an Associate Editor of\u00a0Aggregate<\/i>, Wiley.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
