Congratulations to Assistant Professor Zhang Yamin, who was one of 40 honourees in the 2026 Georgia Tech\u00a0<\/span>Alumni 40 Under 40.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Asst Prof Zhang’s work includes an injectable, self-powered, bioresorbable pacemaker that was recognised internationally as \u201cthe world\u2019s smallest pacemaker\u201d and named one of\u202fTIME\u2019s 2025 Best Inventions. She has published 30 papers in journals including\u202f<\/span>Nature, Nature Biomedical Engineering, and PNAS<\/span><\/i>, and has received numerous honours, including\u202f<\/span>MIT Technology Review\u2019<\/span><\/i>s Innovators Under 35, the AHA Early Faculty Independence Award, and MIT\u00a0ChemE\u00a0Rising Stars.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
