One of our 2023 highlights is our learning journey visit to the Singapore Rail Discovery Centre and SMRT Mandai Rail Depot. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Thank you, Cedric (SMRT outreach team) and all the SMRT staff, for hosting us.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It was a great learning experience for our BEng Infrastructure and Project Management (IPM) undergraduate students to see the inner workings of our rail infrastructure. Our students particularly enjoyed the close-up look at the rolling stock used on the Thomson Line in the state-of-the-art Mandai Rail Depot. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We are also grateful to Ms Foo Li Lian (our alumni) for connecting us to the SMRT outreach team, giving our students a brief overview of her career journey in rail infrastructure and inspiring our students to join the rail infrastructure sector! \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
