\nDBE\u2019s sterling performance in CM Research in the EduRank.org global rankings is highlighted in International Construction Management Research, a book authored by Dr Igor Martek and published by Routledge (2024). The book describes \u201cNUS as a major global legacy in construction management teaching and research.\u201d
\nThe book also singled out three current faculty members from DBE alongside the above rankings. In order of appearance, it describes Professor Low Sui Pheng as \u201chighly esteemed in construction management education, has actively pursued research in international construction management and is a pioneer in the field. In 1990, he published a profiling of the global construction industry.\u201d The book highlights Professor Hwang Bon Gang\u2019s significant publications on \u201cinternational construction joint ventures from a Singaporean perspective.\u201d The book also highlights Professor Florence Ling Yean Yng\u2019s publication of \u201ca greater number of papers in the field, authoring some of the discipline\u2019s most significant studies regarding the strategic, management, and performance dimensions of construction firms active in offshore environments.\u201d
\nAs the results from the book\u2019s global analysis affirmed, \u201cSingapore is a powerhouse of international construction management research\u201d. DBE has significantly contributed to making this possible.
