Organised to celebrate the official launch of The Architecture Society’s inaugural Green Comm, the GreenComm x Touchwood Collaborative Workshop held on 15 July aimed to raise awareness on sustainability through a hands-on activity allowing students to experience woodworking and craft their own unique products using recycled wood. Students were encouraged to adopt the techniques and knowledge gained into sustainable habits and mindsets in their future architectural model-making processes. The workshop received overwhelming support from NUS Year 1-5 students enrolled in Architecture and Landscape Architecture courses, serving as an encouraging testament to students' interest in Green Comm's sustainable objectives!
