The idea is to allow students (individually or in small groups) to follow their aspirations and work towards an impactful goal. The project may be carried out within or outside NUS and may last more than one semester. It may or may not be confined to engineering disciplines, but it should have a clear articulation of a possible impact on society or community life. This course can only be read by students enrolled in the D&amp;E-Scholars Programme.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional Information.<\/strong><\/p>\nD&amp;E-Scholars are encouraged to bring up their ideas for an Aspirational Project to their assigned mentor in order to initiate a discussion and create a suitable work plan for this course. There is great flexibility in when and how these courses can be taken during the student&#8217;s candidature. Credits earned through these aspirational projects will be counted towards the Unrestricted Elective graduation requirement.
