rainwater play
Rainwater is a natural resource available in Singapore that is of abundance. The effects of moving water, as well as the sound of moving water creates experiences that surrounds the residents in Singapore. The intriguing characteristics of water and its interactive potential opens an opportunity to design a new water play area for children that makes use of rainwater. Rainwater Play is a water play area designed for children to play in the rain. The availability of two modes of play, during a sunny day and a rainy day, adds on to the dynamic value of the play area. It provides children with the opportunity to play anytime, where weather is not an impediment of play. |
