Breaking away from the conventional push-button switch, this thesis proposes a fresh way of interacting with objects. With "nostalgic sensations", memories of past experiences intuitively trigger a switch, resulting in a sensational haptic experience.

Torchlight: Translates the intuitive breaking action of a light stick to ignite a light source and shaking to increase the light intensity.

Fan: Translates the naïve action of blowing into a pinwheel to stir up a wind source (fan motor), and a gentle touch on the back of the fan to turn it off.
