With increasing social interest in rock music and technological advancements, a growing number of musicians are starting to explore various music making devices. Jamband, a multi- player music making app that integrates 5 different instrument interfaces, namely guitar, bass, keyboards, drums and vocals into a single app. Players are able to connect with each other through wifi, thus allowing musical interaction whilst at different geographic places. As a substitute for the actual instrument, Jamband bridges the gap between the digital and actual instrument by teaching aspiring musicians the basics principles of playing the instrument.
