Construction Site Boundaries
designed by: Clement Zheng

Construction sites are an increasingly common fixture in Singapore’s urban landscape. With the completion of the mass rapid transit circle line, and construction of the downtown line well under way, construction sites, and the boundaries that define them, are a common interface in our experience of the city.

Focusing on major road traffic constructions which exhibit high dynamism and long duration, this design thesis looks at the boundaries of our construction sites, not merely as a tool of segregating, but as an interface for both the workers within and the public without, integrating these fixtures into our urban landscape more coherently.
