The Last Mile Solution
designed by: Alvin Chee

Collaboration between BYU, PSU, NUS Mechanical Engineering, NUS Division of Industrial Design

An exploration on transportation alternatives between MRT stations and intended destinations. The proposed design is a three-wheeled compact device, suitable to be used on pavements. The device is pedalled and assisted by an electric motor. Steering is done by leaning, aided by the movement and tension of the rear legs. After use, the device can be folded and pulled, then further compacted for easy storage and portability. An electrically-assisted device, it aims to facilitate a comfortable and efficient journey for users and fellow pedestrians alike.
