"I have always been fascinated with how we can use design to solve problems and improve lives. I feel that it is through the challenging process of pursuing simplicity in which we can bring our designs to their full potential, with just the right amount of attention to detail and function."

Tsunagari: Redefining Long-Distance Communications between Loved Ones

Winduo is a pair of long-distance devices that connect people with their loved ones and is a physical reminder of them. Changing colour according to the time of day, it reflects to motion detected in the front camera to give a sense of activity. Users who might be busy can flip the device, allowing family member to know if they are unreachable. The ability to always access the camera provide increased chances of connection and serendipitious encounters.

Winduo indicates time of day back home.

User has to leave, and shows family he is not there.

Initial motion causes a pattern in Winduo’s light, drawing the attention of family

Colour change indicates a status change.

L'Oreal: Interlace

Challenging the conventions of interior and exterior, we created a structure of incredible visual depth with simple horizontal and vertical elements. The display and storage units contribute to the aesthetics of the design and the integrity of the structure at the same time.

Varying levels of transparency based on viewing angle.

Small footprint for transport accomodating publicity and aesthetics.

Muse

If not implemented correctly, open offices can be noisy and not conducive for work. Muse is an attachment for office chairs that uses active noise cancellation technology allowing workers to be able to focus without hindering opportunities for collaboration.

Muse is suited for a wide variety of office chairs.

We are proud to announce that Muse has been awarded the iF Concept Design Award 2014,
out of a field of 12,000 entrants this year.

Affinity Remote

Affinity was created as an exercise in exploring the embodiment of a particular emotion in a product. Exploration of various forms and sketch models were created to identify a suitable form for this product that would symbolise the emotional aspect of “Affinity”.
