‘Microaffordances’ are small or ignored affordances found on the periphery of objects. The Peripherals are objects that demonstrate the interesting outcome of an experimental approach that attempted in using ‘microaffordances’ as inspirations to the way we design objects, with the aim to break away from the traditional object archetypes, and bring newness to the way we perceive objects around us.
“Silver Droplets” is a delicate line arrangement of copper rods. The arrangement brings about random intersection points which are connected by silver soldering, creating subtle shimmering contrast which accentuates the combination of both copper and silver.
Arc is a grocery cart that alleviates the physical strains of users when moving groceries on public bus transportation. Its arc-shaped handle allows one to carry the load on the shoulder, providing swift transition and manoeuvring through single-hand handling.
