Kevin is a leader and a futurist. Through understanding people and designing experiences, Kevin aims to shift our view of the world and through this, possibly reinvent the future. In designing, he believes that every great design, starts with an idea that makes people laugh, because when someone is laughing, they are imagining impossibilities.

Energy+

Energy+ is a demonstration of a way to reimagine the value of energy. In this system, the roomba acts as a solar energy pet. While cleaning your home, it finds the brightest spots to rest and collect solar power. After a long day’s work, it will present the user with a gift of a battery full of solar power. This solar battery can then be used with a lamp to give a sunset glow light effect.

CHEW: A New Spin on Reusable Straws

Being eco-friendly is easy, if you have the right tool to do it. With the aim of creating a gateway to a greener life, CHEW reinvents the user experience of reusable straws tackling typical pain points users face. Launched on Kickstarter in 2018, CHEW raised over $20,000 in its first week.

Designed with Tommy Cheong & Lim Jing Jie
International Design Award - Gold in Design For Society / Design for Sustainability / Design for Environment

ÉLA

ÉLA is a play on the french phrase “est la” meaning “is here”. Created with ridesharing vehicles in mind, ÉLA caters to countries with highly unpredictable torrential rains. When riders are stuck in a heavy downpour,  ÉLA provides a rain canopy with a small light, creating a moment of reprieve for riders to compose themselves before continuing on their journey.
