Topics of each design studio are in line with the department&#8217;s specialisations, consisting of <strong>Product Innovation<\/strong>, <strong>Service and Social Transformation<\/strong>, and <strong>Design Futures and Critical Inquiry<\/strong>. The range of different topics under these three specialisations reflect the pedagogies of the ever-expanding role of a designer in our current society.<\/p>\n<p>The structure of the Design Platforms allow junior students and senior students to work together as a group, which we call &#8216;the vertical format&#8217;. Students in a lower year will take up the role of a junior designer. Whilst senior students have the opportunity to assume the role of a senior designer.
