\"\"Dr. Zhao Zhenyu, a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has been named an Emerging Leader by Measurement Science and Technology, a journal established by the Institute of Physics in 1923 as the first scientific instrumentation and measurement journal. Measurement Science and Technology defines an emerging leader as a top researcher worldwide in their field who completed their PhD in 2009 or later (10 years excluding career breaks).<\/p>\n

Dr. Zhao was chosen for this award due to his unique work on high-frequency behavioral characterization and estimation of induction machines.
