On 22 September, the NUS IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) Chapter held the third installment of
\nits Talent Relay initiative with an introductory workshop to Robot Operating System (ROS2).
\nThis initiative continues to provide a platform for knowledge sharing, while offering
\nIEEE-HKN members opportunities to develop communication, and teaching skills.
\nThe workshop, led by Andy Cheng, was attended by 41 students from the College of Design
\nand Engineering. Participants were introduced to ROS2\u2019s publisher and subscriber model,
\nlearnt how to set up packages, and how to get started with learning ROS2 through
\nTurtleSim.<\/p>\n

Our Chapter extends its sincere gratitude to Andy for leading the session, and to all
\nparticipants for their active participation. We would also like to thank the NUS Innovation &
\nDesign Programme (IDP) for their partnership and support of our initiative. We look forward
\nto expanding the Talent Relay Initiative with more workshops in the future.<\/p>\n
