The award recognises outstanding early-career researchers with strong potential to lead impactful research. Established to support junior faculty, it enables recipients to deepen their research and strengthen their ability to compete for larger-scale grants as they progress in their academic careers. Named in honour of Robert Brown, the award highlights individuals poised to contribute significantly to Singapore\u2019s research landscape.<\/p>\n

As part of the same AcRF Tier 2 Grant Call, Dr Jin has also secured a Tier 2 research grant of approximately SGD 1 million, alongside the SGD 100,000 Robert Brown award.<\/p>\n

Her research project, \u201cAI-AR-Enabled Navigation Platform for Clinical Treatment,\u201d<\/em> focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence and augmented reality to enhance precision and effectiveness in clinical procedures, with potential to advance next-generation healthcare technologies.<\/p>\n
