He has been the Tannas Professor of Engineering at the University of California at Los Angeles since 2014. Prior to that, he was a tenured faculty member at Columbia University. His research interests include precision, quantum, and ultrafast optical measurements in mesoscopic systems. He has been elected a Fellow of multiple societies, and is a recipient of several honours\/awards\/prizes including the NIH Trailblazer Award, DARPA Young Faculty Award, NSF CAREER Award, Google Faculty Award and 3M Faculty Award.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are pleased to welcome\u00a0Professor Wong Chee Wei to NUS &#8211; Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
