The ECE Team from Human Language Technology Laboratory won two awards in the 10th Asia Pacific Signal and Information Processing Association Annual Summit and Conference (APSIPA ASC) on 12-15 November 2018 in Honolulu, USA. APSIPA ASC 2018 selected one Best Presentation and one Best Student Paper Award. Ms Berrak Sisman (ECE student) supervised by Professor Haizhou Li received the PhD Forum Best Presentation Award for the paper \u2018Limited Data Voice Conversion from Sparse Representation to GANs and WaveNet.\u2019 Gajan Suthokumar (UNSW student), jointly supervised by Professor Haizhou Li and his UNSW colleagues, received the Best Student Paper Award for the paper \u2018Use of Claimed Speaker Models for Replay Detection.\u2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
