Among the many other leading positions in the scientific community, he is\/was the Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on VLSI Systems, the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE JETCAS journal, IEEE Distinguished Lecturer for the Circuits&amp;Systems and Solid-State Circuits societies, Chair of several IEEE conferences, and the organizer of the first advanced engineering MEAD courses in Asia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">His Green IC research group has demonstrated several breakthroughs and worldwide records in the field of ultra-low power and green integrated circuits for processing, memories, power management, sensor interfaces, hardware security, and sensing integrated systems. The related research work has spurred about 300 scientific publications, 4 books (including the first book on chip design for IoT with 50,000 downloads in two years), 50+ invited talks\/keynotes in the last five years, and has been covered by about 100 articles in public media and press in the last three years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">His research at NUS has been really enabled by the vibrant group of researchers at the Green IC group in ECE-NUS, and the extensive sponsorship of funding agencies and the global semiconductor industry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">More details can be found at: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.green-ic.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.green-ic.org<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Congratulations to Dr Massimo Alioto, who has been promoted to Full Professor with effect from 1 January 2020.
