Malu Zhang received a Ph.D. degree in School of Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 2019. His research focuses on spiking neural network learning theory, neural encoding and auditory modeling with application to robust sound event classification and automatic speech recognition. He was an outstanding Ph.D. student at the University of Electronic Science and Technology. He is now a Research Fellow at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (NUS) from August 2019.\u00a0\u00a0He is the reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Cognitive and Developmental Systems, Neurocomputing and so on.<\/p>\r\n
