The third batch of Grand Challenges Scholars from NUS have completed the program and will be graduating this year! The Grand Challenges Scholars Program (GCSP) aims to prepare students to be the generation that solves the grand challenges facing society in this century. It is a program endorsed by the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) in the United States and is open to NUS students through the Innovation & Design Programme (iDP). GCSP scholars at NUS are required to work on at least one of the 14 challenges identified by the NAE and demonstrate excellence in multidisciplinary work, entrepreneurship, multicultural awareness, and social consciousness. All scholars will receive a GCSP certificate from NUS and a personal letter of congratulations from the President of the NAE.
