Congratulations to our iDP team Agritisan who won the NUS Resilience and Growth (R&G) Innovation Challenge.<\/p>\n

Agritisan, previously known as HexAgri, is a rooftop hydroponics farm in Singapore that aims to contribute to Singapore\u2019s 30 by 30 goal (i.e. to produce 30% of its own food by 2030).<\/p>\n

The team is answering the nation-wide initiative to ensure food security in Singapore through its own proprietary technology that focuses on high yield produce, self-sustainable in water and energy, and rapid deployment which allows the towers to be easily installed and detached anywhere and anytime. Their self-sustainable system allows no external electricity and water to be drawn to sustain the farms.<\/p>\n

Certainly, all of these can be done through the great synergy of the Agritisan team, which comprises of Furlyn Chow<\/strong> (Materials Science & Engineering, Class of 2022) who manages operation of the farm, Clement Clayrant Chen<\/strong> (Mechanical Engineering, Class of 2022) who handles the business development side, with Darren Erdyan Khalif<\/strong> (Mechanical Engineering, Class of 2022) and Ho Cheng Wei<\/strong> (Mechanical Engineering, Class of 2019) who ensures that the technology works well and keep innovating.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
