Our <strong>year-long project courses<\/strong> CDE3301 Ideas to Proof-of-Concept, CDE4301 Innovation &amp; Design Capstone, and CDE4301A Ideas to Start-up are open to all NUS students. We also offer <strong>one or two-semester projects<\/strong> for CDE2605 Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme.<\/p>\n<h3>\n\t\tProjects for CDE3301 Ideas to Proof-of-Concept (AY2025\/2026 Semester 2 to AY2026\/2027 Semester 1)\n\t<\/h3>\n\t<p>The next cohort of<strong> Year 2 students<\/strong> who are enrolled in the Innovation &amp; Design Programme are expected to complete the year-long design project course CDE3301 Ideas to Proof-of-Concept in the January 2026 and August 2026 semesters. Year 3 student who have not completed the course should also take the course in these semesters.<\/p>\n<p>Students who are not enrolled in the Innovation &amp; Design Programme are also welcome to take CDE3301 as unrestricted elective.<\/p>\n<p>Visit this page for more information about the projects that will be offered and details of the project selection exercise:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cde.nus.edu.sg\/edic\/projects\/cde3301-projects-2026\/\"><strong>https:\/\/cde.nus.edu.sg\/edic\/projects\/cde3301-projects-2026\/<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>\n\t\tProjects for CDE2605 Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme (AY2025\/2026 Semesters 1 and 2)\n\t<\/h3>\n\t<p>We welcome all students from the College of Design and Engineering to work on ad-hoc projects under <a href=\"https:\/\/cde.nus.edu.sg\/undergraduate\/build-your-own-degree\/enhancement-courses\/undergraduate-research-opportunities-programme-eg2605-urop\/\">CDE2605 Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme<\/a>. Students may work on these projects for one or two semesters either as individuals or with a team of other students.
