{"id":20045,"date":"2026-04-02T13:23:40","date_gmt":"2026-04-02T05:23:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cde.nus.edu.sg\/edic\/?page_id=20045"},"modified":"2026-04-02T13:32:21","modified_gmt":"2026-04-02T05:32:21","slug":"jdf-prize","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/cde.nus.edu.sg\/edic\/academics\/jdf-prize\/","title":{"rendered":"James Dyson Foundation Innovation &amp; Design Prize"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2>\n\t\tJames Dyson Foundation Innovation &amp; Design Prize\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>The James Dyson Foundation (JDF) Innovation &amp; Design Prize recognises outstanding student projects that demonstrate the <strong>best integration of design and engineering<\/strong> principles.<\/p>\n<p>Receipients for this University-level prize may be selected from the following projects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Final year projects in the Innovation &amp; Design Programme (iDP)<\/li>\n<li>Design thesis projects in the Division of Industrial Design (DID)<\/li>\n<li>Joint studios\/projects that involve students from iDP and DID<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each winning project will receive a cash prize of S$1,000.
