It also supports the training of students in the use of machining tools and various other manufacturing processes.<\/p>\n<p>The Central Workshop comprises\u00a0a cluster of 3 fabrication facilities:<\/p>\n<figure>\n\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/cde.nus.edu.sg\/edic\/facilities\/central-workshop\/engineering-fabrication-laboratory\/\" target=\"_self\">\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cde.nus.edu.sg\/edic\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/37\/2019\/03\/fab-lab1.jpg\" alt=\"Fab Lab1\" height=\"364\" width=\"550\" title=\"Fab Lab1\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\n\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t<\/figure>\n<h4>\n\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/cde.nus.edu.sg\/edic\/facilities\/central-workshop\/engineering-fabrication-laboratory\/\" title=\"Engineering Fabrication Laboratory\" target=\"_self\">\n\t\t\tEngineering Fabrication Laboratory\t\t<\/a>\n\t<\/h4>\n\t<p>The Engineering Fabrication Laboratory (also known as Fab Lab) is equipped with an array of equipment that are suitable for students&#8217; prototyping work in their design projects such as 3D printers, a laser cutting machine, and a range of cutting and drilling machines.<\/p>\n<p>Location: <strong>E4-02-06<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure>\n\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/cde.nus.edu.sg\/edic\/facilities\/central-workshop\/professional-workshop\/\" target=\"_self\">\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cde.nus.edu.sg\/edic\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/37\/2019\/02\/pro-ws1.jpg\" alt=\"Pro Ws1\" height=\"364\" width=\"550\" title=\"Pro Ws1\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\n\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t<\/figure>\n<h4>\n\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/cde.nus.edu.sg\/edic\/facilities\/central-workshop\/professional-workshop\/\" title=\"Professional Workshop\" target=\"_self\">\n\t\t\tProfessional Workshop\t\t<\/a>\n\t<\/h4>\n\t<p>The Professional Workshop offers more complex prototyping services.
