It is recommended to conduct your Final Year Project in main specialisation topic.<\/p>\n<h4><em>Applicable to AY2019 cohort and after<\/em><\/h4>\n<p>Up to <a href=\"https:\/\/nus.edu.sg\/registrar\/academic-information-policies\/undergraduate-students\/special-programmes\/specialisations\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">8 Units<\/a> may be used to meet (i) the first specialisation requirement and (ii) the second specialisation requirement.<\/p>\n<h4><em>Applicable to AY2018 cohort and before<\/em><\/h4>\n<p>Another important point is that if you do two specialisations, all courses need to be distinct, you cannot double count a course. So ESP5402 is a core for EST, and it will count for your main EST specialisation. ESP5402 is an elective course for CES, those who are doing CES as a single specialisation can take it as an elective course, but if you are doing EST as your main specialisation and CES as your second specialisation, you cannot select ESP5402 as part of your CES courses &#8211; all specialisation courses that you take must be distinct.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>E-Open House What is Engineering Science?
