During the COVID pandemic, Mr Lee Guan Wei (NUS ISE BEng Alumni, Class of 2012) and his team created a comprehensive one-stop service website for the Ministry of Home Affairs. This innovative platform reduced entry processes from a 10-day time span to mere minutes. This helped the Safe Travel Office to effectively manage a colossal 1.5 million enquiries and process 600,000 entry applications.<\/p>\n

In recognition of his exceptional achievements, Guan Wei received a prestigious scholarship from the Ministry of Home Affairs to embark on a Master’s programme at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore. Guan Wei is currently a Deputy Director with the Safe Travel Office in ICA.<\/p>\n
