Congratulations to Linn Htet Aung Wayne, Timothy Teng, Chen Yingling, Yukihide Takahashi and Zhang Licheng for advancing to the finals of PIER71 Smart Port Challenge 2023! From a pool of over 150 startups, our student team, mentored by Dr. Li Haobin and Steve Yeo from the Department of ISEM, secured their place among the top 18 finalists.<\/div>\n

The PIER71 Smart Port Challenge is an esteemed annual innovation competition to find the best ideas and solutions from technology start-ups to address challenges, or innovation opportunities, put forth by maritime corporates in Singapore. This year presented 14 such unique opportunities.<\/div>\n

Their group selected the topic on \u201cImproving Real-time Warehouse Hub & Hub-Port Productivity\u201d. Their novel approach on Digital Twin has garnered the attention of PSA Unboxed, PSA International’s innovation and venture capital wing.<\/div>\n
