It will also develop students with analytical mindset and techniques to tackle with trade-offs in order to optimize the performance of the systems within the relevant constraints to meet the requirements of the integrated global systems.<\/p>\n<p>Declaration of Minor should be done before the start of the 5th semester.<\/p>\n<h3>For students admitted in AY2019\/2020 Intake and after<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The minor in Systems Engineering will be awarded on satisfactory completion of the following 5 courses (20 units):<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>IE2110 Operations Research I<\/li>\n<li>IE2111 Industrial &amp; Systems Engineering Principles &amp; Practice II<\/li>\n<li>IE2141 Systems Thinking and Dynamics<\/li>\n<li>IE3105 Fundamentals in Systems Engineering &amp; Architecture<\/li>\n<li>IE3102A Systems Engineering Project *<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>* By pre-allocation.
