Dr. Thian was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering on January 2009 after a postdoctoral training in the field of biomedical materials and tissue engineering, in the Cambridge Centre for Medical Materials at the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy, University of Cambridge since 2006.
